Our mission is to collect, document, research, preserve and make available to the wider community for their enjoyment and education items that show the development of Dandenong and District from early settlement to present day.

The Dandenong & District Historical Society volunteers are taking a well-earned summer break! The Rooms will close on Wednesday 4 December at 12 noon. We will reopen the Rooms on Wednesday 5 February 2025.

If you send us an email during those two months, we will respond on our return.

Our first members’ event in 2025 will be in April, possibly on Sunday 13 April, a week before Easter.
